Today....

So I know I haven't blogged in some time - as always - But I had time and I had something that I really wanted to talk about.
First of all: I have to thank God for blessing me so immensely and filling my life with amazing examples of Christ. He has really made me for a porpoise and I know that He will guide me through the steps into Glory and Eternety.
Today was my birthday... I wasn't to excited about it for a while... I was away from home and I really wanted to be there. But, this morning I woke up - before my alarm and was a little bit angry. So I went back to sleep until my alarm actually went off and then pressed the snooze..... But after that it started to be a great day! There was my favorite breakfast in the caf this morning: boiled eggs and yogurt! I love it! While at breakfast I was reading the Psalms and getting so mush of the Fathers love for us it was crazy... I gotta learn to dig a little deeper so I can see more! I love Him so much!
It was rainy and overcast all day (most would say it dreary and grim....), but I enjoyed it. The clouds were not going to be an omen of how my day was going to be! We had apologetics class and I got confused but I'm so ready to dig deep into understanding. After class, work...
As I walked into my office (the bullpen) every one was acting all weird, then I saw my desk... IT WAS COVERED IN STREAMERS (yellow ones...)!!!! and There was a vase of pink flowers that smelled really good. Then My office snuck up on me and sang me the birthday song, and I had cake and worked on things and it was all a blessing.
For lunch, I ate with my Core Advisor, Rachel, in her room. We had tea and talked about what the Lord is showing me. It was really nice. I defiantly think the caf was thinking of me when they were making the food today (except for dinner....but that cool, 2 out of 3), because they had taco salads and vegetarian re-fried beans!! yum! (yeah I'm a vegetable eater, remember??)
After lunch I worked some more, then was off finally with a heavy weight of an email on my heart; the one that told me to be ready by 6:15 and be outside the dorms for something. I was a little frightened. But that didn't get me down for to long... I had dinner with some of my bro's and talked to on of my friends for a while before I had to get ready to get messy.... as the email said.
When I was ready... I was told to wait because they weren't ready yet. So I waited, then Erika came and blindfolded me and lead me around the dorm for a while before taking me into the prayer room where I had my life spoken over by Rachel and then sat in the presence of God for a while. After that while was over Rachel and Erika came in and gave me a beauty treatment (mind you I was still blindfolded). They spoke words of life as they did each thing... I really liked it and thanked God for the love that these people I call my family, have for me. I love them with every fiber of my being as I do God but could never compare it to that in a million years.
After that I was "kidnapped" and taken to a popular coffee shop at Mercy Ships Missions. there my family was waiting for me as I was un-blindfolded and they all sang the birthday song to me... I actually cried! What a mess I was! I had my "coffee" bought for me (it was tea) and we played games
at the end of the night everyone circled up around me and said things that they saw in me and spoke life over me. What most everyone said was that I have a lot of joy and I have no fear of man and that I am just overflowing with God's love. I'm not much for words of affirmation... but that really touched me and I almost cried again.
And now I'm here after we returned and typing this up and about to head to prayer. So, I would say more but I have to go.

This has to be the best Birthday I have ever had. Thanks Family :)
